Blog Post #2: It rains alot.

I don't have many pictures today, but I got poured on twice today. There hasn't been a day where it was completely dry all day. But the 12 hours of sun definitely cancels out the 20 minutes of rain each day.

Here's my finalized schedule, just so you all can know exactly where I am each day =]

Architecture Design I, MWF, 9:05-11:55
Architecture Drawing I, TR, 9:30-12:10
Architecture and Culture, MW, 1:00-2:15
Calculus, TR, 2:00-3:15

Hope everything is going great at home, I love and miss all of you!

(Also, if any of you want to send pictures to me on this blog, all you need to do is visit http://www.imageshack.us/, click 'browse', select the photo you want to show me, click 'upload now', and copy and paste the URL into a comment on the blog. It sounds like alot, but it wouldn't take more than a minute to do.)

  6. Are you saying snarky things to us? Is that why your comments were deleted? You DO know that we will all be on here about 100x a day, right???

  7. Hi Love! Glad to have your schedule. If you hear rustling in the bushes outside your classroom, it could be Grandma trying to peak at you -- or it could just be a duck :) love you bunches!!! -- Mommy

  11. Yeah bridgey, it works! That is so adorable! And mom-- I did that like on purpose, just so you could like catch me.

    Aunt bonny- haha my bad.

And dad... why did you delete the comments?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh, no...sorry that there are now 3 of the same picture. Can you delete the extras? Why does it just show up as code for me? And, if only one shows up, I have no idea which code was the right one. Sorry about that.

  13. It will show up as code for everyone, I just have to copy and paste that into my URL bar so I can see the picture. As someone who comments on the blog, you can't actually embed a picture. But that way I can still see all the pictures. BTW, your profile picture gave me a good chuckle. It's an ibis. They don't quack. Ibis. Ibis.

    Ibis.

(By the way, this is getting posted from my studio-- the first of many many nights I'll be spending in here. Setting up my area to start work tomorrow. Love everyone!)

    ...it's an Ibis.

  14. Want to play "Where's Norman?" this is a picture from Cane Fest. http://yfrog.com/n0201008uorientation37j

Here's how you find Norman: put your cursor on the center point of the photo. To the left of center there is a boy in a white visor and white hat. Slightly down and to the left is another boy in a white shirt. Slightly down and to the right is another student in a white shirt. Next to him - to the right - is a student in an orange shirt. Next student over with the green shirt and orange and green hat is NORMAN! Doesn't he look great!!!

  15. It is 11:10. You need to be in bed. Or, you at least need to SAY that you are in bed. OR, if you have a late night, do NOT, I repeat DO NOT skype with you-know-who tomorrow or she will be saying that you look tired, and she does not like when anyone looks tired....and.....do you see where this is going?????

P.S. I just happen to like ducks. That is all. I just happen to think they are super cute.

PPS Then we need a picture of the studio. We need to be able to see where you are. At. all. times.

  16. Dad deleted his comments because he was trying to get the photo thing to work and he sent you a note to say it wasn't working, then realized you have to go to the link to view the photos. or something like that.

  17. Don't get discouraged everyone, even I can't find me. But what we're all doing is waving our 1 finger in the air singing alma mater- the song we sing after every football game: win or lose. Here are the lyrics;

Southern suns and sky blue water,
    Smile upon you Alma mater;
    Mistress of this fruitful land,
With all knowledge at your hand,
    Always just to honor true,
All our love we pledge to you.
    Alma Mater, stand forever
    On Biscayne's wondrous shore

  18. I agree with Bridgey on all counts -- go to bed -- ducks are cute -- think of it as a reality tv style blog -- we'll send a camera crew tomorrow -- or in 10 minutes

  19. I don't have my camera with me! I'm just finishing tacking pictures to the wall around my studio desk, not exactly brain surgery. I am playing a lot of raquetball with some guys that I met here, I think by the time I come back for winter break dad and I will need to find a court so I can beat him up. I'm getting pretty good now!

  22. To see the picture, copy the URL, open a new web browser, and paste it as the url. The website creates temporary internet webpages to hold your image so you can host them.

  23. Racketball is the best. I have a racket around here. A gift from 2 Kennedys, I believe?

Just a small camera crew. You wouldn't even notice. But you could hear us and talk to us so we can interact with you in real time. Oh, yes, I like this idea........

  24. As for ALOT and LIKE -- behave or I'll have Matt "the grammar police" patrol your posts!!! And Bonnie NOT Bonny!!! Silly boy. We love you and miss you so much. And this is FUN!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wow did I really type Bonny? I'm deliriously tired. I'm going to finish up here and head back to bed. Love you all, good night!

  26. By the way mom-- why does the camera have the date August 19th, 2006 on it?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I have no idea why the date on the camera is wrong. I'll have to have geek squad look at it. LOVE YOU!!!

  28. How come my blogs I sent yesterday are gone?Ifeel like a squirrel lost in a maze--every one is at this blog party but me!

  29. Grandma, your posts from yesterday were on Norman's first blog posts, not his second blog post. Click on "Welcome to my blog" on the bar to the right of the blog posts if you want to see your posts from yesterday. It is towards the top, under where it says Followers.
